From 28 to 30 November 2018 90 members of staff from across the Trust came together for three days as part of Improvement Science in Action (ISIA) Wave 2. ISIA is part of our Quality Improvement (QI programme.)
Alison Butler, Quality Improvement Programme Lead said,
“Our patients are at the heart of everything we do – and we’re always striving to provide the best quality of care. In October last year, we launched the second wave of ISIA. This is a three month programme that gives staff the chance to learn about QI whilst undertaking a project.
“Wave 2 delegates had already met together during virtual workshop’ sessions hosted by our QI partners, the Institute of Healthcare Improvement (IHI), and it was clear from the first day that many of our delegates already had considerable QI experience. Lots of staff had been involved in QI projects, or had completed the online training: www.qi.cnwl.nhs.uk/training-and-events/online-qi-training.
